Another Link Coming

Did you know that August is Women in Translation Month?  Unfortunately I finished that last Elena Ferrante book at the end of July, but I'm currently reading An Interrupted Life and counting that.  Book Riot offers a few ways to read more women in translation.

O guess wat more bad news about diversity in UK publishing.

I have always heard that there's a Russian Sherlock Holmes adaptation that is sooo good, but I've never gotten around to it.  Here's a list of international adaptations and I may be so here for the Japanese one.

Sorry this is so Book Riot heavy but they've been doing good work lately - this piece on WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WORLDCON is absolutely infuriating.  They didn't put their interesting, diverse Hugo nominees on their panels because they figured nobody gave a rat's ass about them anyway.  Oh, there's more, that's just the tip of the shit iceberg.  The whole thing is revolting, it's like they had a checklist of ways to be awful and didn't want to miss anything.  Read this and share it widely.
